August Weddings - Stephanie & Mark

Steph & Mark were married at St Ann's church in Lydgate, with the reception held at The White Hart. Geographically both venues couldn't be any closer, the church being literally across the road! And, the minister was brilliant to deal with, encouraging both Tom from Silk Wedding Videos and myself to capture the ceremony as we saw fit. Space was slightly restricted inside, but we all managed to get our shots done without tripping over each other, so a massive thank you to Fr Christopher Halliday and the church wardens.

The weather played it's part though, behaving itself right up to the 2pm ceremony, then letting go with rain showers and blustery winds....rather typical of the area...though not in August, surely? Anyway, we never let the weather spoil the day, and everything ran like clockwork...well apart from Steph being fashionably late - but it's a bride's prerogative surely ;-)

The church and reception were stunningly designed and dressed by Mat Hepplestone and his talented team at Red Floral and unanimously described as 'insane' - truly a compliment to the team's art!
